The challenge in the project
HOLVIA PORC LAVAL, a subsidiary of the TERRENA Group, leader in the slaughter of pigs, entrusted CECIA with the reorganisation and extension of its production site in Laval. This work was part of the manufacturing master plan drawn up by the TERRENA Group for all of its facilities.
CECIA worked with their client on a three year long project. After developing the master plan for the site, then all of the design work, its teams launched the building work broken down into three phases. The first phase involved the construction of a two-storey building, followed by the organisation of an area reserved for slaughter with a lot of work done on flows (raw materials and staff). This project ended with the organisation of a meat cutting area with work as assistant to the contractor in charge of installing the equipment.
