The challenge in the project
POITOU CHEVRE, a family business, which for thirty years has been producing dairy products and in particular, butter, cheese cakes and goat’s cheese, relied on CECIA to build an extension to its existing site and to erect a new building to respond to a growth in its business.
After designing the project taking into account its client’s production requirements and hygiene constraints, CECIA took charge of the work, including the construction of a brand new 500m² building on two levels dedicated to administrative work. This project also involved renovating a 5000m² production area on two floors with all of the machinery being removed, asbestos taken away, demolition work and the update. The production of the refrigeration was entirely reconsidered to adapt to changes at the site.
