The challenge in the project
FAVRICHON, which specialises in the production of organic breakfast cereals, relied on CECIA to build an extension to its historic factory in Saint-Symphorien-de-Lay. This operation aims to accompany the development of its business involving the processing and sale of crunchy muesli, corn flakes, oats and children’s cereals.
Thanks to its knowledge of the food sector, CECIA came up with a made-to-measure solution for their client taking into account all the industrial and equipment aspects. CECIA worked with FAVRICHON as an assistant to the contractor on the installation of the equipment in the 2500m² premises. This production area is divided into two, with one area for the processing of gluten free products in a positive pressure area to avoid any contact with the rest of the factory. A second line is dedicated to the production of classic cereals. 600 m² of staff rooms on the upper floor were also included in thiis project.
